You were a breath of sweet spring to us. Literally– you brought into our father’s hospital room not only a sweet fragrance, but also one of soul and spirit. You were gentle and compassionate. You looked us in the eyes; you stopped routine to grace upon us.
We remember you saying you don’t have a life with your schedule – but you are the essence of life in your compassion, tenderness and grace. We wanted you to have this vase because it was symbolic of what you did for us — “the giver of sweet fragrance”.
We pray you will continue to give bouquets of compassion as you continue in your “calling” and career.
